Accountabilities

• Design and prototype new and improved module and pack designs for battery systems.
• Investigate and evaluate innovative battery chemistries through literature reviews and partnerships.
• Model and simulate battery performance using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
• Design experiments and testing protocols for assessing performance and safety.
• Analyze large data sets to evaluate performance and identify failure modes.
• Conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration into electric vehicles.
• Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation.

Requirements

• Expertise in high-voltage battery systems.
• Experience leading or working within a technical engineering team.
• Understanding of high-voltage battery design concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and integrate hardware into larger systems.
• Knowledge of battery state estimation and control algorithms.
