Who We Are Looking For:

AOT is seeking its first Community Partnerships Director, who will lead the Train-the-Trainer initiative. This is a rare opportunity to launch a sustainable, scalable earned revenue program that multiplies AOT's impact in tech education while diversifying our funding model. You will be leveraging AOT's award winning "Intro to AI" program curriculum by bringing this cutting-edge AI education to thousands of students in underserved communities nationwide.

You'll combine business development, relationship management, program design, and strategic thinking-bridging mission-driven work with entrepreneurial execution.

If you've ever wanted to build a new program within an established organization, this is it.

Responsibilities:

Partnership Development & Sales (50%)

  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate relationships with youth-serving nonprofits, after-school programs, school districts, and charter networks interested in licensing AOT's Intro to AI curriculum
  • Lead the full sales cycle: discovery calls, needs assessment, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of 20-30 prospective partners across various stages of the sales funnel
  • Develop compelling pitch decks, case studies, and partnership materials with AOT's marketing team that communicate AOT's value proposition
  • Represent AOT at conferences, convenings, and sector events to generate leads and build brand awareness
  • Achieve Year 1 target: 10 signed curriculum licensing agreements
Program Implementation & Educator Training (30%)
  • Lead a week-long virtual training for partner organizations that prepare educators to facilitate the 50-hour Intro to AI curriculum with confidence and fidelity
  • Coordinate Summer 2026 pilot cohort: recruit educators, schedule training sessions, provide ongoing coaching and support
  • Partner with AOT curriculum writer to create onboarding toolkits, implementation guides, and educator support resources
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner organizations throughout implementation
  • Monitor program quality and fidelity across partner sites; troubleshoot challenges and ensure successful curriculum delivery
  • Gather feedback from educators and students to inform continuous improvement
Strategy & Operations (20%)
  • Collaborate with AOT's curriculum, programs, and strategy teams to refine the Train-the-Trainer model for scale
  • Develop pricing models, partnership tiers, and value-added services that balance mission accessibility with financial sustainability
  • Build systems for partner relationship management, contract tracking, and revenue reporting
  • Contribute to grant applications and funder reports related to earned revenue initiatives
  • Establish metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure partnership success and program impact
  • Identify opportunities to expand offerings (e.g., additional curricula, ongoing professional development, certification programs)
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, sales, or program management-ideally within education, edtech, nonprofit, or social enterprise sectors
  • Proven track record of closing deals, meeting revenue targets, or securing multi-stakeholder agreements
  • Comfortable with consultative sales: listening deeply to partner needs, building trust, and co-creating solutions
  • Understanding of how schools and nonprofits operate, including procurement processes, decision-making timelines, and implementation constraints
  • Experience facilitating professional learning for teachers or youth development practitioners
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in ambiguity, build systems from scratch, and iterate quickly based on feedback
  • Strong project management skills: you juggle multiple partners, timelines, and deliverables without dropping balls
  • Data-informed decision-maker: you track metrics, analyze trends, and use insights to improve outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace and Salesforce; experience with project management tools a plus.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and take ownership.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to America On Tech's mission and values.
Benefits of Working at America On Tech:
  • Hybrid work model (1 day in-person with additional in-person time required for in-person student and/or recruitment events; these will be scheduled and communicated in advance as much as possible)
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • 20 paid vacation days per year
  • 2 week holiday vacation at the end of the year
  • 10 organizational holidays per year
  • 1 PTO day for your birthday
  • 56 hours of paid sick time
  • 6% 401K Match (after one year)
