Regular DevOps Engineer

What you will do:

  • Assist Senior developer with the technical setup of the pipelines.
  • Ensure the availability of the running services.
  • Help with migration of locally deployed services to Kubernetes.
  • Manage and utilize logs and monitoring instruments.
  • Ensure high availability for existing services as part of the organization's key infrastructure.
  • Maintain and manage active deployment.
  • Automate with Ansible. Configuration management.
  • Participate in deployment and testing procedures.
  • Receive operational training on key logistic systems handling high load of messages.
  • On-call duties may be applicable.

What we are looking for:

You have at least 4+ years of hands-on experience with the following:

  • Proficiency in Linux.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Creating deployable scripts.
  • Experience in Terraform.
  • Proficiency with administration of cloud environments GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Proficiency with Google Kubernetes Engine with Google Config Connector.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting setup.
  • Good knowledge of Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana.
  • Proficiency in Git, utilizing GitLab/GitHub.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take on challenges.
  • Willingness to constantly learn and improve.

What we consider a plus:

  • Knowledge of FluxCD.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or others.
  • Proficiency in German language.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with at least 2+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of Linux.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Creating deployable scripts.
  • Experience in Terraform.
  • Experience with administration of cloud environments GCP, AWS, Azure.
  • Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine with Google Config Connector.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting setup.
