Description:

Here we grow again! CJB Industries is hiring for Packaging Operators to join our family-oriented work environment. Packaging Operators are responsible for packaging liquid and dry materials into containers according to customer specifications.

Label containers.
Box, seal, and palletize products.
Read, interpret, and follow package sheet instructions.
Record information regarding raw material usage and finished products on packaging sheets and pallet summaries.
Clean up around area.
Clean out filling equipment.
Dispose of waste materials properly. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Packaging Operators may be responsible for assisting with training and supervision of temporary or new employees. Qualifications:

Georgia Work Ready test required. Minimum Scores: Graphic Literacy: 3; Applied Math: 3; Workplace Documents: 3.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret packaging sheets and MSDSs. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and visitors.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs.
